👀Let’s take a look at how this might be set up:
1. Begin in your Zapier Dashboard
You'll need an account with Zapier before continuing
2. Click on "Create Zap"
3. Designate the app that will "trigger" your event
4. I'm going to select GrowSurf in this particular case
5. Next, you'll designate your triggering event. Here, I'll select "New Participant" to trigger a shipment in our SwagUp app
6. Click on Continue
7. Click on Sign in to GrowSurf or, if you're already logged in, select the account you want to use
8. Zapier will now prompt you to test your triggering event by pulling the record of a new participant. If everything looks good you can proceed
9. You'll designate your "action" platform by clicking on SwagUp
10. Click on “Send to New Contact” if you want to automatically send a card or pack. Alternatively, if you want to merely save the contact information to see if the referral is qualified, you can select “Create a New Contact”
11. Click on Continue
12. Zapier needs to connect to your SwagUp account to be able to pull your inventory options. Click on "choose an account" to designate your SwagUp account
13. Click on Continue
14. At this point, you'll be asked to match the designated fields so that the pack can be sent.
These fields are pulled from GrowSurf and then matched to SwagUp's contact fields
15. Once you've designated all of your fields, you'll click continue and the Zap will be created!
