Connect your Shopify Account
Connecting your SwagUp account to Shopify has never been easier with our native Shopify integration. Connect and manage your Shopify orders all from the SwagUp platform using this simple widget under the integrations tab:
Click “Connect” and our system will ask for your Shopify URL
You’ll then be asked to validate your Shopify account with your username and password. You will then be asked to accept the installation of the Link app. This is a required app to support the new SwagUp fulfillment location.
If you are a legacy user of the SwagUp x Shopify App, you may now disconnect the old Unsupported SwagUp app by navigating to the Apps and Sales Channels Setting and selecting 'Uninstall' on the SwagUp app. Click here for more detailed instructions.
Once you’re connected, the widget will let you view the connection.
By clicking “View” on the widget, you’ll be taken to the orders connected to Shopify but first let's sync your inventory and/or create new products.
Once you have connected the products you would like displayed in your Shop, there are a few Shopify settings you will need to address and configure.
Adjusting your Shopify Settings
You no longer need to specify that orders be automatically fulfilled in Shopify since the SwagUp integration does all the work on our platform. Here’s how to get set up:
Log into your Shopify Account and navigate to “Settings”
Click “Checkout”
Navigate to “order processing” and make sure that it reflects the setting shown:
IF you do not want orders sent for Fulfillment automatically, you are able to select the 'Don't fulfill any of the order's line items automatically' setting and manually send each of your orders for fulfillment.
Your other “Checkout” settings need to reflect the following selections:
To view the order details in your SwagUp dashboard, go to the specific order and click “Order Details”
The order number in the SwagUp platform will correspond to the order number in Shopify, making it easy to manage your orders directly from SwagUp’s platform
When a customer orders from your Shopify store but provides incorrect information, you’ll see an error notification in the SwagUp platform. You can correct the errors by using the “Retry Failed Order” button and following the prompts.
Common errors are typically address-related and are simple to correct.
