Shipping Delays
Please expect potential delays on some international shipments due to carrier routing changes, customs processing, and country-specific import regulations. Delivery timelines may vary by destination.
🔴 Middle East & Route-Specific Delays:
Expect delays if shipping to the Middle East. While shipments to most countries are possible, carriers are using alternate flying routes and predict delays when shipping to the following countries (updated 3/17/2026): Bahrain, Bangladesh, Ethiopia, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Kuwait, Maldives, Nepal, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Seychelles, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Uganda, United Arab Emirates, and Zambia.
Required Shipping Information
All shipments must include:
Recipient's full legal name
Complete shipping address in English (no symbols/characters)
Recipient's phone number
Recipient's email address
⚠️ Incomplete Information Warning:
Incomplete or inaccurate information may result in shipment delays, returns, or delivery failures.
International Shipping Best Practices
🔵 Let recipients know a package is being sent to them.
🔵 Many countries require identity verification (KYC) before delivery.
🔵 Recipients should respond promptly to any carrier or customs requests.
🔵 Customs requirements vary by country and may require additional documentation before a shipment can be released.
International Shipping Refund Policy
🛑 IMPORTANT POLICY NOTICE:
Shipments are not eligible for refund, replacement, or credit if delivery fails due to:
1. Incorrect recipient information
2. Unresponsive recipient
3. Failure to complete required customs or KYC verification
4. Refusal to comply with carrier or customs requirements
Customs Clearance, Duties & Key Terminology
To ensure international shipments pass through customs smoothly and to avoid unexpected delivery delays or fees, please review these key shipping terms and clearance requirements:
DDP (Delivered Duty Paid): Swag Up ships international packages under DDP terms whenever possible. Estimated duties, taxes, and import fees are calculated and paid upfront at checkout so the recipient does not have to pay additional fees upon delivery. Note: Local customs authorities may still assess unexpected inspection fees or local handling charges depending on local laws.
Customs Brokerage & Clearance Fees: Customs brokerage is the process of clearing goods through international customs. While standard express clearance is included with major carriers in most destinations, certain countries require recipient-managed brokerage or independent customs brokers. In these cases, the recipient or company is responsible for selecting a local customs broker and paying any associated local clearance fees.
POA (Power of Attorney) / Authorization Letters: For commercial shipments, high-value orders, or specific country destinations, customs authorities may require the recipient to sign a Power of Attorney (POA) or Letter of Authorization. This grants the carrier or designated broker legal permission to clear the shipment through customs on the recipient's behalf.

Swag Up follows all carrier, customs, and government regulations. Certain items may be restricted or prohibited from shipment based on destination, carrier guidelines, or local laws.

Swag Up and its shipping partners reserve the right to refuse, suspend, return, or destroy any shipment that:
Violates local, state, federal, or international laws
Contains prohibited items
Lacks complete shipper or recipient information
Poses a safety risk to transportation networks
Violates import or export regulations
💸 Additional Charges Note:
Any prohibited shipment may be subject to additional fees, penalties, disposal costs, or return shipping charges.
Bulk International Shipments
For large event, conference, or office shipments:
Customs may classify high-volume shipments as commercial imports.
Additional documentation, Tax IDs, EORI numbers, or recipient verification may be required.
Requirements vary by country and customs authorities.
Swag Up can assist with customs documentation and carrier communications when necessary.
🟡 Customs Broker Disclaimer:
Unfortunately, we are not usually able to tell ahead of time if a commercial Tax ID/EORI will be required, as it is dependent on the customs broker who processes the shipment.
🟢 Carrier Interventions & Contact:
Our team provides commercial invoices directly to the carrier. If the recipient is unsure how to handle a customs email, have them CC care@swagup.com immediately so our team can directly contact UPS and the agent handling the ticket to intervene and provide required information.
Important Customs Requirements
The recipient must be a resident, citizen, or registered business in the destination country.
Individuals may be required to provide a National ID, Tax ID (in the US, SSN), or other government-issued identification, depending on local customs requirements.
Businesses may need to provide a valid Business Tax ID or registration number.
🔴 Non-Resident Event Travelers Warning:
International shipments cannot be sent to travelers, event attendees, or visitors who are not legal residents of the destination country. Any person traveling to a destination country for an event who is not a legal resident of that country WILL NOT be able to clear shipment through customs themselves.
🟢 Pre-Order Escalation:
Please contact your AE/AM/Live Chat if you have any questions BEFORE placing your order for bulk items that you plan to ship internationally if you do not have a resident or business entity in that country to receive and clear it in customs.
⚠️ Customs Non-Compliance Risk:
Failure to meet customs requirements may result in delays, returns, additional fees, or unsuccessful delivery.
